I think somehow I may have wrecked the driver's side door speaker in my Civic. It's making a sort of crackly sound when trying to produce sounds with a lower frequency. This means I get the pleasure of possibly replacing the speaker. As it happens, though, I have a pair of 6" Sony Xplod speakers that are doing absolutely nothing right now, so I might as well put them in.
Is there anything that I should watch out for when doing this?
This video seems fairly straightforward. I've had the door partially apart before to look at the power door lock switch (which is still broken).

Be gentle with the door clips and the window/doorlock/mirror harness connections.
Honda interiors of this generation are quite easy to work on.

I've got the manual mirrors with a little nub inside that I can use like a joystick. I suspect they might be a little more difficult to get apart.

Which clips in particular? The ones along the door edge?
